What happens without an active license?

Changing the settings, and updates, need an active license. When a subscription ends, emails keep going through SMTP for 30 days; after that WordPress sends them the default way again until you renew. Your settings are kept.

Does it work with GITECHY Works?

Yes. GITECHY Works keeps sending its own emails with its own settings; GITECHY SMTP handles every other email of the website.
