Media storage for WordPress
GITECHY Cloud Media
Keep your Media Library in Cloudflare R2 or any S3-compatible bucket and show every picture from your own media address – your server stays light, your pages stay fast. Coming from WP Offload Media? Move everything and switch with one click.
Features
Any bucket
Cloudflare R2, Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, DigitalOcean Spaces or any S3-compatible service.
Your own media address
Pictures load from e.g. media.yoursite.com. With Cloudflare R2 there are no fees for downloads.
Every size, everywhere
All image sizes, srcset, links in posts and the Media Library point to the bucket – edited and deleted pictures follow.
A lighter server
Optionally remove the files from your server 10 minutes after they are safely in the bucket. Every copy is checked first.
Leave WP Offload Media
Copies its files from the old bucket under the same addresses, then switches over. Its data stays – you can switch back.
Never locked in
Copy every file back to your server with one click – even without an active license.
Moving from WP Offload Media
From Google Cloud, Amazon S3 or DigitalOcean to Cloudflare R2 – without changing a single picture on your pages.
1
Create the bucket
In Cloudflare: an R2 bucket, a custom domain for it and an API token.
2
Connect it
Enter the bucket and its address in Media → Cloud Media and press Test.
3
Move the files
Runs in the background with progress, checks every copy and retries the ones that failed.
4
Switch
One click: WP Offload Media is switched off and your pictures load from R2.
Do I need WP Offload Media?
No. GITECHY Cloud Media works on its own – it only reads WP Offload Media’s records to take over its files.
Are my pictures safe while moving?
Yes. Nothing is deleted from the old bucket, and until a picture is copied it keeps loading from there.
Does it work with GITECHY Gallery?
Yes – galleries, previews and downloads work with photos that are only in the bucket.
