How to watermark photos in WordPress galleries

Watermark the copies, not the originals
Editing every photo by hand is slow and leaves you without clean files. A good gallery adds the watermark to the copies shown on the website and keeps the original for paying clients.
A watermark that protects without ruining the photo
- Your logo or name, semi-transparent (20–40 %).
- Placed where it cannot be cropped away easily – centre or a third of the image.
- Sized relative to the photo, so it looks the same on every image.
