Quotes customers approve faster: e-signature and deposits
Short answer: send the quote the same day, make it clear line by line, let the client approve it online with a signature – and ask for a deposit they can pay right after signing.
Speed wins
The first clear quote often wins the job. A visit on Monday and a quote on Friday gives the client four days to call someone else. Prepare quotes on site from the survey or the service report, and send them before you leave or the same evening.
What a good quote contains
- Line items with quantities and prices – not one lump sum.
- What is included and what is not.
- Options: good, better, best (clients like to choose).
- Validity date and payment terms.
- A visible “Accept” button.
E-signature and deposit
With online approval the client opens the quote on the phone, signs with a finger and is done – no printing, scanning or email back and forth. Asking for a deposit (e.g. 30 %) at that moment secures the job and pays for materials.
In GITECHY Works

Questions
Is an e-signature legally valid?
In the US (ESIGN Act) and many other countries electronic signatures are valid for business agreements; keep the signed PDF with date and time. Ask a lawyer for special contracts.
